June 12, 2010:
Meeting, Santa Rosa We will be joined by
Charlie Schroeder, who is writing a book of his experiences learning history
through re-enactment. He'll discuss the project and we'll decide if we'd
like to be involved.
We may also watch
"Faintheart", a British comedy about a Viking re-enactor, since it seems to be
somewhat appropriate, if not ironic, under the circumstances. We'll meet at Ed Berland's home in Santa Rosa at
12 noon. Bring your own lunch and beverage.
We'll discuss combat training using both Regia's and Viking NA's regulations,
with the objective of complying with both. As always, we'll talk about
upcoming events.
