April 30th - May 1st, 2011: Norway Day, Ft. Mason, Los Gatos.
Norway Day at Ft. Mason in San Francisco is the major event for the Sons of Norway chapters in Northern California. It fills one of the large pier buildings at Ft. Mason. We'll put on The Viking Art of War and display our arts, crafts and weaponry. This is inside the pier, but we'll still put up our tent and set up our display as well. We'll need to arrive at 8:00 am to set up.
In addition, a film crew from The Electric Playground, a G4 cable show reviewing electronic media wants to interview us (as Vikings) regarding Norse mythology in advance of the imminent release of Thor, the movie. We hope to work this into our presence at Norway Day.
