This is a one-day Scottish commemorative event. Let's plan to be there at 8:00 am and as always help setting up the shade canvas would be appreciated.  If you arrive before me, check with Debbie Barnes (408-569-0881) to see where we'll set up.  Vehicles must be clear of the area by 9:00 am.

We will be putting on the Declaration of Arbroath at 10:45 AM as part of the Opening Ceremonies and The Viking Art of War at 1:30 PM.

As shown on the map below, take Highway 84 to Ardenwood Blvd/Decoto Rd.  Turn left onto Newark Blvd crossing under Highway 84, left on Jarvis Ave and left on Lake Blvd, crossing back over Highway 84.  Follow the road as it curves left.  There will be a gate with event staff. Give them your name and identify yourself as being with The Vikings of Bjornstad.  They should have your name on the Gate List I gave them.  Take the One-lane Road curving left with the open field on your right.  You should see the Living History area with tents on an open field.  Turn in on one of the small access roads near the Public Restroom building.  Look for Vikings.  Unload, then head back the way you came to the Gate and turn into the Living History Parking Area.
